Does anyone have advice on good hotels/beaches. Drop us a message if you are going then.

Banff

Went once for Xmas and New Year, never again. Saw people being flogged in the street by police, got pestered 24/7 by locals, some trying to sell their own underage sisters/daughters for sexual purposes and wife assaulted by a 'Doctor' she was told to see about a burn. If you go, just sit by the pool all day, never leave the hotel and you'll be fine.

'Its hot anyway' So is the Sahara Desert. The plus being very few Gambians in the Desert trying to get you to sponsor them to come to the UK.

Thanks for the reply, we were asking for advice on good hotels and beaches.

We have been once before some years ago, we did not find it a difficult place at all. We are seeking advice from people that have used the newer all inclusive hotels in Gambia recently. Thanks.

That's OK. We said in our original posting 'If you go, just sit by the pool all day, never leave the hotel and you'll be fine.'

That's what all-inclusive is all about, isn't it?

We go to Gambia every year and we recommend it for down to earth friendly people who don't mind 3rd world standards . It's very relaxing , we mix with the locals , use local transport , walk around and we can't fault it at all . We were there this February back again for Christmas.

It's mint.

You will love it or hate it.

I went with a pessimistic view

Just for the adventure.

It's 100 percent good holiday.

Top...Cant rate it more highly..And you don't have to be a prisoner in your complex neither..Go for it..
