malta is lovely that time of year..couple of hours flying, its so tiny you an get buses everywhere, its smaller than the isle of wight...really good food..depends what sort of a nightlife you want , but i would recommend staying near valetta, the st julians area, or sliema, all very close. The main tourist website is pretty good.. |

We went to Buggiba a few years ago with our kids. TBH not much there to do if you don’t like past history and sightseeing. There are hardly any beaches around unless you go to Valletta. St. Julians bay is good for night life. And there are trips to Gozo ect readily available. |

We found it really nice when we went about 8 years ago. Not sure what it's like now though. The only pain was the really pushy timeshare folk whom I could have fallen out with, oh and the jellyfish sting whilst snorkeling |

Never really fancied Malta but decided to take the daughter one year and we stayed in Attard - which is central, not beach - our hotel was opposite the Presidential Palace and was terrific.
Turned out to be one of the best holidays ever - the history is fantastic - you MUST visit Mdina whilst you are there. We attended a free open air pop concert in Valetta - fantastic, safe and a great atmosphere.
Didn't venture to St Julians and the like - simply because we were told it was like every other tourist destination populated by Brits. The Maltese are lovely, respectful people - you'll love it |

Stayed at dB Seabank a couple of times which was very nice. We went in February, May will be warmer likely mid to high 20s.... We had up to 20C. Locals all nice and English is spoken. They even drive in the left. Lots to see and do including ferry trips to Sicily in addition to the quick hops to Go out and Comino. |

May and June are the best if you are not after scorching heat. Depends what you want for your holiday. But beaches to visit are golden bay and ghadira. For night life in summer there are many things going on. A visit to Valletta and Imdina . Gozo, Comino and also Blue grotto. ?? |
