Where in Mexico? Mexico is a country the size of most Western Europe!
Am I correct in assuming you mean Cancun? I would personally recommend Playa del Carmen or Merida (1.5hr or 3 hr drive from Cancun Airport) as they are much more of the “real” Mexico, but if I were to stay in Cancun- and could afford it- I’d stay at the resort in Xcaret.
If you’re interested in other destinations let me know. I am Mexican and know 90% of my beautiful country.  |

Why not both ? Sort your flights and then Book a few nights at Temptations & then a few at Desire ? Or if u wanna mid it up maybe try a couple nights in Tulum in the middle ?
We researched both extensively before our first visit last summer. We opted with Desires and have already booked to return next month. |

You could try going to Puerto Vallarta and head up to Sayulita........Its still 'Mexican"........go there before it gets like a small version of Cancun.
Also Tulum has a few interesting accommodations .....depends what your looking for!!!!!  |
