We went to Cape Verde last March, it was amazing, weather was great, no bugs, entertainment at night was good, it was just very chilled and relaxing, no stress is their moto, we’re going next week as well, it’s just a place to relax though not much going on with regards to sight seeing if that’s your thing.

Love Cape Verde. Been many times. It is quiet with not much to do apart from relax. Going again to Boa Vista on the 27th February for 11 nights with my wife. Will anyone else be there then.

Your place must be on Sal Island because there is more going on there than on Boa Vista.

Good morning Fabs,

Any woman or couple on the Island of Sal during the months of February and March?

Do we share a beer under the sun?

Kisses

Planning for feb 2021 As our June 2020 holiday has just been cancelled. Does anyone know if there are naturist beaches or resorts there? Many thanks

They have their own currency Escudos but you can only get them from banks, cash machines or hotel receptions once in the country. It is difficult to change them back but it is handy to have some low value notes to give tips to the locals. Otherwise Euros are accepted and the rate is 1 Euro = 110 Escudos.

As far as I am aware there are no naturist beaches but when I went to Sal a few years ago I did see a few people sunbathing naked discretely. Topless for ladies however is OK.

We have been twice it's that good. Tui hotel food everything great

Great long walks. In almost empty beaches

Plenty of nudist areas that's not busy at all. We walked about 20 minutes along the beach and were deserted. Nude every day.

Funnily enough the only person was the guy from reception that came by twice when we were there.

Wonderful place

Very helpful thread! Have been considering Cape Verde as a possible travel destination and possibly to live. Great to know there are some naturist opportunities and swingers who go there.

Anyone know if there is any good hiking?

Is the weather good year around or is there a better time of year to visit?

Thank you!
