Working in the Oxford area this week and booked into the holiday inn. Looking for recommendations of where to eat and drink in this Covid lockdown world, especially if the weather is crap.
Also looking for running routes, I assume the hotel is to far out of town for a run round the nicest parts of town? |

The holiday inn is at pear tree just off the A34 if you head towards town till you get to a big roundabout then take a right towards wolvercote. Not too far down there you will find two pubs and get down to the river
If you go straight on at that big roundabout you will get to run past some nice big houses, probably 3-4 miles to city centre |

If you return to the same hotel location in the future the trout inn is a nice location on a warm summers evening |
