Slam Dunk Festival (North)
Jump to: Newest in thread
Locked in my lineup, depending when I get there on the shuttle:
The Tyne, Millie Manders, Teenage Bottlerocket, Hawthorne Heights, Spanish Love Songs (for 10 min haha), Zebrahead, Holding Absence (end of), Millencolin, food break, Boston Manor, 4 Year Strong, The Menzingers, LTJ, Billy Talent, Yellowcard, The Offspring.
Gonna get some steps in! Weirdly really looking forward to Zebrahead even though I've seen them so many times over the years supporting.
Hyped! Gonna be awesome! |

I love LTJ and it would be great to see them when it’s not raining for once. But I can’t miss The Academy Is…
Sincere Engineer are worth checking out first thing too. They’ve only been given half an hour though, which is a shame.
Sincere Engineer, Emarosa, Zebrahead, Grayscale, Real Friends, UnderOATH, Four Year Strong, Kids in Glass Houses, The Academy Is…, Billy Talent, Yellowcard, Enter Shikari.
I’ll decide on clashes when I see set lists from south later. |

Anyone revisiting this year? Genuinely think they’ve listened to the criticisms and moved some things around and there’s plenty in the line up for me to get excited about. Looking at it, I don’t think there will be clashes for me. |

I wasn't gonna go, but then got tickets through the tickets for good for NHS workers so going North now.
Says another after the price went up 30/40 quid, line up was so so, reduced the capacity and still couldn't sell out. Literally had to give them away |

"I (Lou) will be going. Heading to it with friends but looks like the bands I want to see (Alkaline Trio, The Used) clash with who they will be watching so will likely be at those on my own.
Xx"
Hopefully The Used actually turn up this time...
I'll flit between Alkaline and ADTR as I saw the former more recently but always like them |

I’ll be picking Alkaline Trio over ADTR. We’ve got an Airbnb just down the road so might make it out before the rush then.
Neck deep/Less Than Jake was my only other clash. Will probably pick which ever is closest to the food I want.
Ended up spending a small fortune on VIP too. So hopefully I can get my monies worth out of that. |

Not a lot. A cloakroom, food trucks and a bar serving stuff not in the arena. “Luxury” toilets apparently. Seems like a waste of money but we wasted it, nonetheless. |

I expect a detailed vlog on how luxurious these toilets are |

Only once did I see a very small queue. Real toilets with decent sized cubicles. Soft paper. And hot water with nice soap. Can’t complain at all.
The whole vip area was nice and really chill with a big bar, decent food stalls, loads of nice covered seating. Definitely getting it again next year. |

Down south from what I could see, the food stalls looked the same as what us poor people had. If the bar was manned by the same as the public, they hired the worst company/staff so it was much of a muchness..
Sounds good though. I feel I should try leeds as noone seems to go south on here |

Next year is the 20 year anniversary so should be a big one.
Seems so long ago now. I still wasn’t shaving when I was 22 hahaha. Practically just a baby! The first Slam Dunk had Fall Out Boy, The Academy Is, The Hush Sound (those 3 were touring together) Hundred Reasons, Thursday, Capdown, and Hellogoodbye |

Good ole decaydance back in the day. I think all of them have taken extended breaks/broken up since then and or reformed for anniversary tours alate. I sat on hundred reasons at royal albert too long and missed out. |
