It's a beautiful naturist beach used by real naturists including families. It is NOT a swinging location. The NT are looking for reasons to close it down. Misbehave and you will give them one, if you are not chased off by other angry naturist.

We were there yesterday..our first time and loved the liberated feeling..although it was windy the dunes offered plenty of protection..very easy to access too

Studland is beautiful. You can park up on Ferry Road (the road the leads to/from the ferry), there is a bus stop about 1/2 mile from the derry. There is a gate with a path that leads to the beach. If you keep to the path it will take you right to the middle of the naturist section. We tend to go to the rhs as you look towards the sea. Front of the dunes if it's not windy, into the dunes if it's windy.
