Plenty of good places. Merchant City has a bit of everything so its a good place to start.

Bad karaoke at the horse shoe bar upstairs or cosmopol. Plenty of great bars for drinks such as the merchant city as previously mentioned cuil cuil and the howlin wolf is a late night bar if you don't want to go clubbing.

Would recommend SO LA and spiritualist for food too.

Cannot go wrong with the west end for food and drinks , Byers road has some amazing food places , personal favourite is La Vita Spuntini, also head to finnieston to Lebowskis for amazing White Russians . Some class Teuchter pubs down there aswel for a bit of traditional music and dancing
