Ok Cupid is good for finding the kinky ladies as they have questionnaires and one of em is on sex

Tinder is ok

I find that the site now seems to encourage women to block you, then your profile gets deleted after several blocks or reports. You might just disagree on something then the toys are thrown out. You sort of get an idea of which women want a quick meet as they usually agree to swap pics. The prudish ones generally never get past the first date or even reach the date stage.

IT's the worst dating site i've ever used.

The UI is awful and not user friendly, it's littered with bots, and the feature (I forget the name) called Ultra Match or something that is supposed to be their unique amazing way to match people who are 'super compatible' is completely useless and might as well show 20 random people to me.

OKC is almost as bad but at least it looks prettier

Always a coffee first... Most obvious give away lol. When you ask them, they immediately block you as if it's ok for them to be using both and not a guy.

Years ago pof used to be fantastic, had quite a few dates and developed a relationship. Many years later I found myself back on there (recently) but sadly there are tons of fake accounts targeting men in a very obvious way! So instead I tried tinder, it's ok but bumble is far better. Now I've found myself a good girl and she's coming to the club with me because she likes to be watched

I don't recommend pof at all anymore but it used to be good. Try bumble but it is for dating, be honest on your profile what you're looking for and be patient.

Women msg 1st on bumble so less work for us men until one is interested then you need to put some effort in. Read her profile, show intrest and be nice.

For women it means you don't get bombarded with hungry men so you only speak with those you are interested in.

Win win if you're looking for dates not fwb etc...

I didn't say it's the woman's fault... I offered another perspective other than the women blaming the men, or hadn't that occurred to you? It takes two and both have changed the site. You cannot just blame the men as most women tend to do even on here. If I was wanting a relationship I wouldn't be on here and visa versa. Do you not see that it gives the wrong message? One minute you're on here looking hook up, the next on there a relationship. I used POF about 5 years ago. Met a couple good women, and we met regularly for a few years. Quickly it changed into a site full of fakes and unreliable people.

Then I discovered fab and met a few wonderful women here, though it was hard work to find them and get their attention, eventually.

Still haven’t found the perfect site for finding friendship with sex, regularly... Maybe I’m a weirdo for looking for that, who knows!

I'm on POF and a few other dating sites.. I'm looking for a relationship.. Although they would have to be very special for me to be in a monogamous relationship. I have met some wonderful people on the swinging scene and made some really close friends .. We socialise and go out for meals together regularly . I have a few club buddies yet I'm still looking for the right one to come along . The dates I've had off POF have mostly been ladies that are also on fab . Yes there are people on online dating websites who are looking for 'serious' relationships but at the same time, it's fairly accepted these days that if you are looking for your future vanilla monogamous life partner to join in holy matrimony and in the eyes of the law, that you're better off joining a 'serious' site like eHarmony or Guardian Soulmates etc etc.

I dont think you're quite grasping the amount emotional damage that lying to and deceiving a person can cause.

One guy doing it is bad. Two is unlucky. But a majority of guys doing it as though its normal acceptable behaviour is just ridiculous, and thats what we have come to now. When did things change? It wasnt always like this was it? What happened?

The pay sites are exactly the same as the free ones.

So whats the solution? Should we just all relax and let folk treat us that way? No. No we shouldnt!

In my experience on POF there were many men whose account stated they were looking for a serious relationship, but actually just wanted sex. Pof had the option to select a more accurate description of what they were looking for.. For example, looking to date, but nothing serious. To me, that also just meant sex. There were several options available on POF if they simply wanted casual fun /sex.

It is possible to want both for sure, but it's all about being up front about the intension.

I chose to come here to fab, as I stopped my search for a relationship after trying a few dating sites, and decided to have some NSA fun for a while. I don't plan to stay, as long term I want more, but for now, this is my journey and have made some great friends along the way

Well said!!!! If I'm after a relationship they will wait till I am ready for taking it that next step further my first husband waited 6 months but it showed he was dedicated to me and not a shag... now they are the real men x

I don't recommend pof at all anymore but it used to be good. Try bumble but it is for dating, be honest on your profile what you're looking for and be patient.

Women msg 1st on bumble so less work for us men until one is interested then you need to put some effort in. Read her profile, show intrest and be nice.

For women it means you don't get bombarded with hungry men so you only speak with those you are interested in.

Win win if you're looking for dates not fwb etc..."

For those women complaining that guys ruined it, nope the ladies opening their legs too freely on it has drawn men just looking for sex to it, and from many accounts quite successfully.

I see it strange that the women who use this for hookups and POF for dating, then complain that guys from here go there using it for hookups. Many are the same ladies, many are the same guys.

Surely it's not the site that determines what it is but rather the people in it?

So yet again its the womans fault for opening her legs? So the behaviour of men is excused because women open their legs!?What a load of crap.

Maybe I used pof for dating because I wanted to date and separate the two sites. I put on my profile on pof 'looking for a relationship' that doesnt mean hassle me for sex.

How others perceive you is just on them as you put it, it does directly effect you too.

How I talk to someone and how they then recurve that is not just their problem it's also my or as it effects how they view me... Just like the way you view me on here. So I still stand by what I said about those using it have changed it and it's not just the women but also the men, but it certainly is about how others view them on it and how they then respond.

I'm sure it varies by location but in my area I'd say POF is an 80/20 split with 'serious' making up the 80 vs casual/hookups making up the 20 of profiles I see on there.

I certainly wouldn't call it mainly a sex site.

The real question is anyone had success on POF without paying. My experience is I get the same people showing up on multiple pages of search results. also they seem to have improbable jobs eg half seem to be pharmacy assistants.

The thought of wasting money on being ignored is even worse. Paying for membership isn't gonna make me any more handsome or attractive, is it?

I met the Mr on POF.. never done online dating at all.. i did not subscribe.. 1st fella i messaged, only meet i had.. a week later i was off POF.. 3 months later we were on FAB.. he introduced me to this crazy place.. although 3 month wait was too long in his opinion!! 6 years later we are still together and living happily ever after ... i guess I got lucky!!
