I’d agree but only after 2001. After that, it was a joke and with over seas posting vanishing. Calling in the light strip replacement team to change a bloody light strip as not allowed to stand on table or chair etc even after coming back from Iraq or Afghan !!! WTF. You don’t join for the money! though I did okay investing in property and my side business, sourcing and selling products cheaper than NAFFI prices. Unfortunately, many piss their money up the wall and when their time was served, they had nothing to show.

You must of had a hard time.

"RN don’t really do alot do they. lol just joking..

How can anyone like civie street it’s full of back stabbers ie work wise.

Another issue for myself and others is if you have been injured or seen friends get injured or pass away infront of you and suffer ptsd, trying to explain what your going through to a civie is shit

Because they have no clue. "

tell me about it , with combat stress closing its main base it is even harder to get help.

Ex military. Few tours later and seen shut I'd not wish on my worst enemy was enough for me. I don't like talking about where I was and what I saw.

11 years. Great as a young man, seen so much of the world. But then kids came alone. I found that operational need made it impossible to be Husband and dad I wanted to be. Family trumped career. I did the right thing and I'd do the same again. But I do miss it, the travel, the adventure, the people, the sense of pride when your jobs made an impact. It gets under your skin is very much part of the fabric of who am.
