Folk in the south dont think covid19 real. Us in the north uk have been under tighter restrictions mostly since march. Me myself am not badly affected as I am slightly disabled and therefore I get support workers in.

Bit of an assumption to suggest that those down south think covid doesn't exist.

Greetings from the South West. Fully aware of Covid thanks and have been doing our best to keep the infection rate down.

From the south, had it, know a fair who have but don't know anyone that's died from it.

Can't say I know anyone who doesn't think it's real.

Live in the South, one of us front line respiratory nurse, the other cancer patient. We know it’s for real. Perhaps the “South” has been better at following instructions?

I think everyone knows it exists to be far or everyone in their right mind its more the fact a lot of people don't think its as serious as the media show it to me.

The reality until people see a friend in a coma or someone they know has died for it they convince themselves its not true.

Humanity is inherently selfish and want to dismiss things so we can do what we wish.

"Colne is more Midlands than north ??

What a sweeping, hugely incorrect statement.

How the Hell can you say it's not news down south?

1 - you're not down south, how would you know?

2 - we live in the south, it's very much news here.

3 - It's news all over the world.

You blather on about the north/south divide, it's stupid comments like that which help foster it.

North good, South bad.

Silly, very very silly.

Think you're just spoiling for a fight there buddy. Its wall to wall in the news 24 hours a day. Trust me. The South know about covid and some of us are trying our best to make sure we don't keep spreading it.

Plenty of other things to pick on mind you

Well given the current infections spreads, hospitalisation and death figures.any kind of "exit" plan is imaginary.got to Get it under control first.

Oh, come on! Seriously? Covid is affecting people everywhere, it's just in some areas ALL OVER the country that some people heed the rules but others in the same region don't.

Why don't you tell us your exit plan.... Because you appear to think that it's simple to come up with one. Reduce infections. Help the economy. Make every member of the public happy.

So please... Do tell

I live in the Midlands and you in the South keep bringing this virus up to us and you in the North keep bringing it down to us, so what chance have we got NONE, I've told the PM when HS2 is complete we don't want a station in Brum then "you can fight it out a tween ya"
