Same here. There are a lot of very knowledgeable people in the virus threads, lots of links to valuable resources.
Yes, there's a few loons, but they're easily spotted.
I don't know why someone would suggest closing it, when it's so easy to avoid.

Its easy enough not to come into this section of the forums if you dont want to read about the virus or the ongoing pandemic that is still very much a part of world wide life, the virus board also serves to keep posts relating to the virus from being scattered across all the other sections of the forum so that it can be avoided by people like yourself that dont want to hear about it and found easily by those that wish to share thoughts and information regarding it. |

No. It's optional and very clear what it is, so amazingly easy to avoid 
Don't like. Don't visit.
It's a very useful section, even if OP gets nothing. The virus is very far from not being an incredibly serious current issue, affecting us all, in every country. |

No. Covid is very much still a thing. I have found this forum very helpful & comforting while nursing my daughter. Its been really helpful chatting to people who know what we are going through
