Of the people who have had this years COVID vaccination, did you experience any side effects? Eg feeling unwell afterwards.

You can feel unwell after any vaccine. It's is your immune system doing its job that makes you feel unwell.

"Are they still dishing jabs out?"

To certain age groups they are. I don't know about the general population

"Are they still dishing jabs out?

It's primarily age related or for those with compromised immune systems this year, it's generally a little more restrictive than earlier boosters were

They can be got privately too, for others.

If you do have it, try to get it in the same arm as before, as research shows that we typically produce a more robust immunity when we do this

The flu vaccine has been around since the 30s so it could.ve said it's booster number 95 if anyone is old enough 🤷‍♂️

It's just a vaccine dude. I would imagine people don't like getting ill. They'll be taking aspirin next if they have a headache...and going to hospitals and everything... what nutters!

Yes they are. I've had a flu vaccination every year for the last 30 odd years too.

Are people still concerning themselves with the vaccinations other people are having?

wonderland.

Cant have mine this time as the carers can no longer have them... currently well into my 2nd week of suffering with the current covid strain..

As to vaccines.. if I have flu and covid together I've suffered with soreness at the spot, and lymph nodes up for a few days and generally feeling a little headachy for a day or two. My daughter just gets a sore arm and a little tired.

She is booked in for her next one next week.

Unbelievable how everyone I know that is still having these jabs are still sick every single time and still actually get flu and covid regularly. The ones that refuse are all fine. 🤔

Are they getting genuine 'influenza' or a bad cold and calling it 'flu' because like so many people they don't actually understand what 'influenza' is?

Sorry to hear that. Was it attributed to the vaccine?

It's not attenuated therefore not 'just a vaccine'. If anything, it's a therapeutic shot in the arm.

If you hadn't had the first one you could have died from COVID and not been around to refuse the second one 🤷‍♂️

It's a pity that you must have dropped out of the basic classes on vaccines, when you might have learned something useful

Vaccines are not all attenuated, such as in the way the first ones were, including for Smallpox. Things have developed a lot since 1798! Keep up . Fewer vaccines today are attenuated - they just don't need to be. Which is why fewer people will suffer an infection caught from a vaccine, because there's nothing infectious to cause it.

Could have... Much much more likely however that they would not have died.

A couple of days of flu like symptoms and high temperature are common with this years covid vaccine, quite normal and passes within 48 hours.
