Hi been diagnosed with diabetes 2 just on slow release Metformin no issues except I'm starting to find it harder to get and maintain an erection.

Is this the medication and is there a way to return to normal without the Viagra type pills.

Appreciate any sensible advice.

Is there any reason why you can't have viagra? Cialis is a bit milder, regarding the side effects and hardness.

Anti-histamines and certain ADHD meds will stop the blue pills from working.

couple, us we him her.

Well there's a few reasons for the ED as you probably know diabetes affects circulation and one of the results is reduced blood flow to the old fella, so it's probably more to do with this.

However Metformin is known to have certain side effects such as reduced libido.

Generally if you are of a certain age and overweight chances are you will probably have high blood pressure.

This will also have effects on the old fella.

I'm assuming here as is my case.

But I would strongly advise speaking to your GP before taking ANY medication including Viagra.

Regular exercise and weight loss can help ED.

I also have a bad back which when bad really effect's my ability to get hard.
