A honey gargle can work very well too and tastes a lot better than the salt!

Other than that, numbing spray thick cough syrup, sucking hard sweets and a long hot water bottle wrapped around the neck

If it's constantly sore go to a doctor you might have tonsilitis it won't go away on it's own
