"I have tried to find the beach a number of times but run out of time & energy any good directions would be welcome "
It's not a beach exactly but a little sandy area at the pool. "kenfig Pool".
Just park in the nature reserve car park or the gravel car park next door and head down toward the pool. It can be clearly seen and there is a path down. |

Directions are if you park in the kenfig car park walk down the beach behind the building keep walking for about 15min until you arrive to a “crossroads” you can go straight on to the beach, left, or right towards the steel works. Turn right and walk towards the steel works for about 20minutes. As you walk down the fields to your right gets separated by a fence and further down you will see a gate with advertising sign on it for “sheep sheering” (this is past post 15) either make ur way on to the beach from here keep walking and you will see where the nudists are! Just look for the sinking ship in the sand and walk up the dunes from there. Or you could just walk to the beach and turn left until you see the sinking ship. Just remember to turn right towards steel works and u won’t go wrong from the path!!  hope this helps!?! |

To clarify you turn left off the path as that will always take u to the beach if you turn right on the cross roads / path. It’s weierd because you walk down a narrow path with sand then you come to a like road or track! |

Be warned a mate of mine found a guy walking naked along the cliff top at monknash. Two women who were behind him were unimpressed. It won't go down so well if there are reports of people flashing the whole area.
