That time of year again....

Thoughts on the squad?

Carre before Smith totally baffles me

Ken Owens as captain. He’s been injured for the best part of the last 12 months. Is he the best No2 (can’t use the proper word) in wales at the moment?

I bet you Ospreys fans are elated that AWJ has kept his place. Was it inconceivable that WG would drop him?

Carre is there on merit, we don't have many ball carrying front 5 forwards.

Nicky Smith is hugely unfortunate though and I'd have had him ahead of either Wyn Jones or Gareth Thomas.

Moriarty also a bit unfortunate.

Other than that it's what I expected.

I'm hoping that we'll be more respectable than the cluster fuck that was the Pivac era.

3 wins would be good.

Can you name 4 better second rows than him now? Time may not be on his side, but until someone can dislodge him from the squad on merit then he deserves the call not forgetting the invaluable experience he has at test level to pass onto the younger pups

I think we'll win tomorrow, Saturday is a different ball game though.

Irish are favourites on form, we could surprise them, fingers crossed

It’s 2012 all over again. Let’s hope for a similar tournament result. I don’t think we can ever underestimate the Gatland effect on the squad.

Under Pivac there was confusion caused by him dictating a style of play but picking players who were not suited to it.

Think wales could find Ireland a bit of a handful tomorrow… I think everyone with the exception of France will struggle to cope with the Irish just now.

And no I’m not Irish I’m English…

I hope I'm wrong but i feel it's a stab of desperation to appoint Gatland again! He hasn't really been a success back in NZ, Andy Farell has moved Ireland to another ,Borthwick is a risk with England but could be risks need to be taken sometimes, France should be the favourites though.

Looks like we have a lot of work to do after today Ireland came out of the blocks and we didn't!

Scotland did the job in Twickenham and deserved the win with running rugby ??

No direction first half, better second half, but too far behind to make a difference. Lots more work needed.

Wales are suffering a bit just now

GATT’s for me not the best move and a wee clear out of aging players needed

They have some great players not getting a chance

Fresh coach with an open mind needed
