Unless someone had extremely deep pockets to help ' convince ' the right people.
But running it as a profit would be difficult due to the footfall but it would be great to have something West |

I think Carmarthenshire would have more success than Ceredigion purely for logistical reasons, as it would be much more accessible for people from Swansea and further East.
Obviously as previously mentioned, Planning/licencing could be an issue and it would help to have some accommodation options on site too.
I think it would also need to be quite a modern and well maintained setup to give competition to the more established club in Newport, otherwise you may struggle for numbers |

If this could happen, then I'm sure it would a success, there used to be one near Nevern, where they had a sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, bar and a few play rooms, it was very busy on a Saturday play night.
I had some great memories of this place which was open for drop ins during the day too, but this was 25yrs + ago.
Good luck, as a Health Spa type venue i'm sure planning in Carmarthen would not be an issue. |
