I've been in peri for a while now and found a lot of the symptoms are exactly like my fibromyalgia and AuDHD. Im not on HRT.
The one thing that is really bothering me is that my upper stomach is so bloated constantly I'm walking around looking 11 months pregnant. Im used to my fat belly but this is getting ridiculous.
Has anyone else had this? Any advice will be welcome. |

Probiotics either tablet/capsule or drink, daily help massively.
Natural supplements for hormones instead of HRT worked massively for me. Research the best ones with the right amount of what you need though not just go for the cheapest. |

"Personally, HRT has changed my life immeasurably, but I understand its not for everyone.
I'm trying to reduce carbs to prevent bloating, but it's not easy! X"
I tried it and I couldn't get on with unfortunately. The gel caused a rash 🤦🏻♀️. |

I use patches and have the Mirena coil. I couldn't trust myself to remember to use gel everyday!!! X |

"Im on hrt and whilst its helped with the hot flushes and night sweats, my emotional control and restless legs are far worse. As is the usual brain fog "
Have you tried tying a sock around your foot for your restless legs. Sounds strange but it does work |

Compression socks are also a huge help with RLS too. I have RLS and take meds for that (along with it also being for pain relief) and when I do have a bout these work a treat, as does topical magnesium |

Yep I'm with you Snow ❄️ Google your symptoms OP and get a pre and probiotic strain that is recognised for tackling your particular symptoms. Either individual strains, or a mixed tablet with a high indicator.
Magnesium helps with joint pain.
Menopause bundle from Nutrition Geeks is good
Good luck xx |

Thank you ladies.
I have started taking a menopause combined vitamin tablet daily; I am already taking 4 different magnesium, vitamin B complex and turmeric daily for my fibromyalgia. I was thinking of starting Physilium Husk for fibre and Milk Thistle for my liver.
I will look into the prebiotics route as well. |

I swear by fennel tea for bloating.
I also shout from the rooftops about kegel8 electronic vaginal toners, the pelvic saddle muscles hold everything in place, a strong pelvic saddle is like having internal spanx!
