Hi all i have a meet tomorrow and we have mutually agreed on meeting in a hotel in Newport. Can anybody tell me of any cheap hotels that have been used in Newport and the price and the atmosphere? Thanks in advance xx

I've used the etap on the bottom of malpas road before think its ibis now but was very cheap and served a purpose

chams only has four or five rooms and they always booked in advance but good luck and have fun anyways

Stayed in the Ibis Express (formally Etap) the other night, wouldn't stay there again.

It had some lovely views of the M4, you could wave at the truck drivers from your bed.

Hopefully the Premier Inn for next week might be better.

There's a travel lodge in town and a Witherspoon opposite that also has rooms.
