Anyone else get this?

Just wondering if this happens to anyone else on here, as it's starting to make me a bit paranoid!

You receive a wink, thank them with a polite, non-pushy message, and it gets deleted without reply and/or you get blocked?

And it's usually these people who are always complaining about timeweasters!

Im afraid so buddy. If I get a wink, I take it as they are interested.

But sometimes the wink is all you get lol

Perhaps they pressed the button in error as mistakes do happen

Its rare that we respond to winks. Often enough the winkers profile tells you as much about them as the wink.

I tend to ignore winks, seems a bit silly... A message shows a bit more effort even its its not wanted.

I've had people send winks then not reply to my message, I think they are the types who only want a response when they are online, the chatters, who probably just like the dirty talk and dont meet much. Or it's the other half online who is totally unaware of the wink maybe sent by her... and he doesn't respond to males messages. Who knows, nowt as strange...

Think there's a bit of confusion here.

I wasn't talking about sending a wink and people not responding to them, that's fair enough.

I mean when I RECEIVE a wink, and send a polite message to the person who sent it, then get no reply back, or even get blocked!

What puzzles me is why did they bother winking in the first place?

Have you ever thought maybe it was a mistake in the first place?? They go to click something but click wink.

Its a wink, different case if they mail you and then don't bother respond.

Possibly a mistake once or twice yes, law of averages.

But this has happened far too many times for that.

Think I'll just put it down to some people getting cold feet when the prospect of an actual meet is on the cards.
