Had a great night - Just a shame me and my other half had to leave early for last train home 
Next social does need a dance floor and more indoor room (glad I had my xmas jumper on)

Anybody who hasn't kept their ticket contact me for a refund, any profit is being donated to a charity via sponsorship of a friend who's doing a fundraising event, again, contact me I you wish for details. This info was given when I sent out confirmations
I'm sorry to hear it wasn't warm enough for some and that it was very busy, I was sent photos by the venue manager and told it fitted 150 comfortably between the outside and inside area.
As above a new venue has been sourced for a couple of reasons if I choose to run another.
This was my first social event, im a one man band, I'm no pro at them and I'm gutted a few didn't enjoy, admittedly I should have stepped up my game but planning this event alone has been very hard work and stressful so I wanted to enjoy it too, maybe enjoyed myself a little too much. |

It was brilliant to be at the return of the Cardiff social last night. Thank you to Prince for a fabulous night.
Lovely to catch up with some longstanding friends. And to put faces to some new ones.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and with my hot flushes, the outdoor section of the venue was perfect for me
As for the lack of a dance floor mentioned by some...who needs a dance floor?

Maybe those who weren't happy would maybe like to start a social of their own as opposed to slating someone else who put a lot of their own time effort and money into organising what I thought was a fantastic night. It is always easy to sit there and criticise the effort of others whilst making none yourself |

I do hope you do another social Craig. Youll never please everyone but I think from the thread you can see most people had a great night.
Its bloody hard work organising a social and I for one would never do it.
As MissP69 said if some think they can do a better job let them sort their own social out.

I am sure that he will he has a good , friendly personality and is a bit of a character and miss p69 tells it how it is.in think that there were more positives than negatives from the night and it is another good addition to the social scene in south wales |

Worst things have happened in the toilets at socials im sure!! The girl in question is absolutely covered in grip marks and has a nasty injury to her leg from three burly bouncers ragging her out of there. Shame on them. |

If you read what I put I said I don't condone drug taking. I was mearly highlighting the fact bouncers roughed a "woman" up. There was no need for that. Escorts her off the premises yeah of course. But to physically assult her cause that was bruising is! |

Prince has been politely told that he can no longer use the venue for a social thanks to the person taking drugs in the ladies toilets.
And if the person had left quietly instead of kicking off when asked to leave perhaps she wouldnt have been treated so roughly.

Any comments I've made is in no way a slight at Craig. He worked hard to arrange Saturday night and is a complete shame he won't be doing another. And like I said I do not condone drugs in anyway.
Any violence towards women I don't condone tho. Whether the woman in question got arsey about being asked to leave it didn't warrant 3 doorman bruising the hell out of her. This is an abuse of the powers they are given and licensed to do. |

Would of been something if the person involved had apologised but no shes telling people how roughly she was treated.
Really pisses me off that people cant take the blame for their own actions and just make excuses.

No I left bout 10.30 so don't know what happened about from reading on here but I always believe in innocent until proven guilty and not listen to hearsay

Another social ruined because of one selfish person ?..... I left early but if the said person did do drugs, they deserve all they get and should be banned from all further socials...............SHAME ON THEM !!!!!!!!!!. |

People sniff in every pub toilet the land over every night of the week though!!! Even if she was sniffing ( I know she couldn't possibly have been) then she still doesn't deserve rough treatment from power tripping bouncers- the girl is black and blue!! |

More fool them then Jade. Lots dont do drugs though. And I for one cant afford to buy drugs if I wanted to. |
