Would love to go but to nervous to go on my one - anyone one willing to meet me there, and show me the ropes around the place

There will be a load there, take your own drink and get to the bar... plenty to see and do!

That's no help to someone who's shy! It's really scary attending your first event - it took me years to pluck up the courage.

I'd suggest attending one or two socials first, where he can hopefully find an event buddy.

He does state he's a confident young man on his profile.

Though it may seem daunting if you haven't been before the atmosphere on Saturday nights is more easy going and well suited to the first timer.

If you don't find someone to go with maybe putting your name down for the Newport social the same night could be an option.

Possibly you might meet someone there to go to the Greenhouse with later on in the night though tbh I know nothing about Socials and how they work.
