We booked in to the Avant Garde for the Easter weekend and really glad we did. We have stayed in many hotels in Blackpool and this was by far the best. Very clean and lovely decorated. Great service and good sized rooms. We will definitely be visiting again. Also there is a great play room for guests to use. It was a great to meet the fellow fabbers staying in the hotel also.

Well what can I say …..met this couple a few times now and their hotel is just amazing! Barb is sexy as f**k and always has a cheeky wee nipple poking through her blouse (like we hadn’t noticed) which is a complete turn on. We have just returned from an absolutely amazing weekend stay at Avant Garde Blackpool. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. The rooms and facilities are amazing and beautifully finished. The Avant Garde is by far the best lifestyle hotel in the U.K. Cleanliness, facilities, and the hosts are all 10/10 I’d actually recommend this as a great place for new couples entering the swinging world. You have no pressure to visit the various Blackpool clubs and if you do you’ll always meet other couples at the hotel who you can chat too and meet up with so it’s less intimidating. Even if you decide to stay at the hotel for your stay the facilities and location are second to none.

Just want to say how awesome barb and dave are. We had our joint birthday on Friday at avant garde and they pulled out all the stops as usual. Going above and beyond what was expected. Place is spotless. Very homely, welcoming and classy. Won't stay anywhere else now unless we really have to. Showers are brilliant and hot. Beds are comfy and we barb remembers what you need which in my case is squirting towels haha . Breakfast in bed is lovely . This was our first stay at the avant garde hotel and what can we say what hasn’t already been said. Dave and barb are an awesome couple,great hosts easy to talk to and encourage you to have lots of fun. Now there hotel is absolutely immaculate and clean the bar area is a great place to meet and socialise with likeminded people,and the playrooms downstairs is a great added bonus we also like the breakfast box what is delivered to your door in the morning. We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough we will definitely be returning with a bottle of apple vodka for Dave personally.

Well people what can we say. Barb & Dave you are the most brilliant hosts we have ever met. From putting us at ease from the word go to helping sort out a problem we had, nothing was too much. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the beds are super comfy, the bar is stocked well and very reasonably priced. Although we didn't play on this stay ,our first at a swinging venue. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked an extra night. Now a special mention to Simon who tends bar does running repairs if needed in the rooms and thankfully is a star with a set of spanners.....you sir are a lifesaver. Thankyou.

We booked to stay with Barb and Dave this weekend and we had an absolutely wonderful stay. They are wonderful hosts, warm and friendly, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The bar was well-stocked and reasonably priced. The playroom was a lot of fun and we enjoyed sharing the room with some of the other guests. Our room was spotlessly clean, with modern decor, and a comfy bed. Being delivered a breakfast basket to our door in the morning was a super touch. We visited Blackpool for our anniversary weekend away. After doing a lot of research and reading reviews on similar hotels and hearing the horror stories we decided to visit Avant Garde Hotel. (We had only heard good things about it.) When we arrived (way before check in due to train journey) we was greated by Dave. He offered to carry our bags up to our room so we can explore Blackpool. (I'm glad he did because the Mrs doesn't pack light) The hotel is extremely clean and well kept and dave and barb are great. The most genuine down to earth people I have ever encountered in a hotel. We both felt genuinely welcomed. There is superb facilities in the hotel that sadly we didn't make use of because we had plans for the whole weekend. The bar area is modern, well stocked and clean. The price of drinks is extremely fair for a hotel. We sat and chatted to others each evening before we went out. There is also a nice breakfast box delivered to your door each morning so you can have breakfast in bed. It really is a friendly place to stay. The cleaners do a superb job and there really isn't any faults. Also that orgy in my room really put a great end to the stay! -- we didn't make it to the play room. Well done you all should be really proud of what you has established here. We are allready trying to work out a date we can visit again

We was lucky enough to make the decision to attend avant-garde while we was in Blackpool. After meeting a couple in another club who came with us, the weekend went to a whole new level. Our first visit to Avant Garde Hotel and we couldn't have been made to feel anymore welcome, Barb, Dave and all the staff went above and beyond to make everyone feel part of the big family, the hotel is immaculate and it even has its own playroom/dungeon which was a great experience. Highly recommend everyone to get yourself booked in when visiting the area, you will be made to feel relaxed and at ease. Spent a lovely New Year weekend at Avant Garde in Blackpool. Dave and Barb, Simon and Sarah ensure every guest has a special experience. Lovely surroundings with very good company from the hosts, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for a lovely weekend away. The rooms are especially clean and comfortable, the best place to stay in Blackpool for sure! The playroom is very well equipped and beautifully decorated environment . So much fun was had with lovely guests and hosts, we can’t wait to go back !!! Thank you xx

Spent the New Year weekend at Avant Garde, our second visit, we love the hotel, lovely clean rooms, great bar area. Got to sample the fabulous play room this time which was lots of fun. Met some lovely people and Dave and Barb were fabulous hosts as always. Looking forward to returning for the social event on the 28th January xx

Our first visit to Avant Garde last night for their NYE party, and what a great evening it was. Barb, Dave and all the staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome. Although we weren't staying as residents those parts of the hotel that we did see were spotless, and the playroom downstairs was amazing. Sadly we didn't get to use it on this occasion but we'll definitely be back to give it a thorough test run one day! M&S xxx

Went here last night for first time and saw new year in Glad we did You walk through the door they welcome you and are so accommodating Not like other places we’ve been to The hotel is spotless aswell Wicked bar area great music The seating area was fresh modern and very up to date Bedrooms looked amazing clean but beyond that all the extra things in those rooms were fab We take our hat off to you what a lovely hotel honestly We look forward to see you again Fabulous couple nothing is too much trouble The atmosphere was top notch And no clicky behaviour ppl spoke Definitely glad we spent new year there Big Thankyou guys InkedMrG x

Ooh, stayed at this amazing Hotel last night and SO glad we did!! We were welcome warmly by our hosts, shown to our room which was amazing! (look at their pics!). The rooms are both spacious and luxurious, gorgeous comfy beds, plenty of space, lovely bathroom and beautifully decorated. Downstairs there is a top quality bar, lovely seating, reasonably priced drinks. They have amazing playrooms too, several beds, very glamorous, very clean and even a dungeon room - something for everyone! Met some fabulous people and had an exhilarating evening - thanks to everyone for making it such a good experience- hope to visit again very soon xxxx

What can we say, stayed in the Avant Garde Hotel last night and omg what an establishment! Our first time here and also first time in the scene up north, we were well greated by the fabulous owners and immediately felt at ease and at home! The perception people have of any bnb in Blackpool is completely set right by these hosts! They have seriously turned this place into the place to stay for us non vanillas and created a diamond of a hotel! (They even have a little bit of diamond wallpaper!) will 100% be staying here again real soon! Sarah & Carl xx

Met this lovely couple at there amazing hotel at the weekend, very welcoming and friendly plus good looking Really enjoyed everything about the hotel Inc the playroom as we were given a tour on arrival, had the pleasure of chatting to them both more later on after we got back from our food out, when they were both behind the bar! Would have loved the chance to get to know them both a bit better but they were both busy entertaining their other guests, would definitely go back again in the future and you never know what may happen x

We nipped in to have a look around whilst in Blackpool for the weekend. Dave gave us a tour of the hotel and large play room which we were super impressed with. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Met this couple for a drink at their hotel on Saturday night before all going to Club play. We weren’t guests there although wish we were. We had the tour of the hotel and were really impressed with how spotless and tastefully decorated everything was. Can’t wait to book in for our next trip. We can’t recommend these guys enough! The hotel is brilliant, hospitality is outstanding, and the downstairs play rooms are exactly what you want when you’re looking for a little fun after hours ;-) Everything has been thought of and carefully selected to give everyone plenty of choice and a bit of variety during their stay! Completely by chance we found the Avant Garde hotel mentioned in the forums, and on a whim decided to book for the weekend. Well, wow, this is THE place to stay if visiting the North West, even if you plan to go further afield, we’d strongly recommend making Avant Gard your base for a weekend. Barb and Dave are the best hosts you could ask for, and have done a stellar job of creating a brilliant Swingers only hotel experience, from the decor, cleanliness, and warm welcome, there’s nothing comes close to this in the U.K. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked another trip before we left.
