I’m Jade - one half of a very happily married and open-minded couple based in Somerset.

We are here mainly because my husband discovered he was bisexual later in life and we both want to explore this side of him a lot more - sometimes one on one with guys, sometimes with me watching and more often me getting fully involved in an MMF.

I am sorry to say this - I know messaging a stranger can be a brave thing and being blocked can hurt - I am truly sorry - but if we know we aren’t a match I probably will block, only because in our experience so many guys message repeatedly if we delete or don’t answer.

There is simply not the time to answer every message. And in the past I have tried sending a polite ‘no thanks’ - but that results in more messages back because many guys are encouraged by the novelty of any sort of reply.

Ok - so a guy sent what I thought was a nice message to us, showing an above average level of understanding for our block policy. I therefore replied. He replied back, but we have a busy life with work, kids etc.. and also over 50 other messages in our inbox to read… I didn’t get around to respond to him in what he decided was an acceptable timeframe (24 hrs) so he sent a passive aggressive rebuke about us starting a conversation then not continuing it. I really don’t have time for that so blocked. He then messaged on a second account to say ‘pair of arseholes’ … I’m guessing that was aimed at us and he wasn’t just bragging. Lovely guy…. And this is why we won’t engage in conversation with anyone further unless we feel there is meet potential. And why we will continue to block.

We currently have a couple of fwb that we are very happy with, so aren’t actively looking.
