On the recommendation of a friend I attended one of the Forbidden Nights events last night. I could not have been made more welcome by the hosts who explained the rule clearly at the start of the event to make sure everyone felt safe and checked in on people especially the newbies through the event. I returned to this amazing party after a couple of months away from it due to work etc. And OMG! What a great night it was. The core group of regulars welcomed my back with such gusto. It was great to see so many friends. And then there were the newcomers and not so regular party goers. And they were all great fun too. It is a really friendly atmosphere. Rules are simple. Be nice, ask permission, respect everyone's boundaries and No means No. The banter and laughs started immediately and this was followed shortly thereafter by lots of fun. When I left the party I was totally "drained" a fantastic night and I'm looking forward to the next one, and the next and the next.
