update today, Tuesday 2nd Nove, ended up in bed again this afternoon having another bleed in my knee - luckily I still had some of my strong tablets and curled up waiting for it to kick in then I could go and get something to eat. This spontaneous internal bleeding is totally not a nice experience,

No help from knee surgeon - nothing wrong with my previous surgeon, and no infection, the bleeding is from various tissues in the area, caused by blood thinning drugs. - and if I dont take any, Im in danger of having one big stroke..............Hobsons choice. Then there is the pain factor from the bleeds - Ive lately been prescribed Oxycontin and oxinorm with nerontin at night, increased to one three times a day, and panadol 4 times a day..... a lot of stuff. But the hospital will only prescribe those for a max of 5 days. because its a ddictive!(I only got three days)

Spent last night on a trolly in A & E because I had another bleed on my knee so it was red hot, and a had a darker pink bruise. back home this afternoon, phone call, Im having an electric bed delivered in the morning! courtesy of occupational therapist Not sure how much fun I can have on a 3 ft electric bed will have to wait until the pain levels subside some what.

I came out of hospital yesterday afternoon (in my nightie because the hospital seem to have lost my trousers and bra when I was in resus). not really well enough to have any fun at the moment, This pink bruise is (Im told) a result of a spontaneous bleed - causing me to experience a lot of pain, I still cant answer lots of individual messages sorrY.
