Decided it was time for a rewrite to reflect the person I am now, as the old one was getting too long and I didn't want to add yet another new paragraph.

My name is Mike, I'm a fully bisexual and fully versatile guy from Liverpool. I'm interested in meeting new people (and old ones too) and hopefully some new friends too.

I have a painfully low tolerance to bullshit, and an even lower one to ignorance. This means I always try to be as honest as I can - if I'm not interested in you, I'll say so and I'll be direct about it but I won't ever do this try to hurt anyone's feelings.

If I'm not your type, that's fine. I'm realistic enough to know that not everyone will find me absolutely irresistible. But please let me know. However, some of you people need to learn that not every email you get is an invitation or offer of anything - sometimes a compliment is just a compliment, with nothing else wanted or intended. If I send you a message asking if you want to meet me and you say I'm not your type, that's fair enough - if I send you an email saying that you have a good profile or picture and you say I'm not your type, that's rude and presumptuous. Manners coat nothing but are worth everything.

I'm not on here for a relationship - while I wouldn't want to rule anything out, I'm quite happy being single. I can do what I want when I want, and I don't have to answer to anybody. Why would I want to give that up?

So what am I looking for then? Open minded single men, single women, T girls and couples only. If you're part of a couple who wants to meet as a single, that's fine - but I will still want to meet your partner to make sure they're aware and comfortable with what's happening. I don't meet anyone who is married or has a partner they're cheating on behind their backs.

If you ask me if I'm discreet, I will automatically translate that into "please don't tell my friends/family/boss/girlfriend or spouse", and if you use discretion as the reason why you won't send one, this gets translated into "someone has already told my friends/family/boss/girlfriend or spouse, and she's still fucking fewwwwwming". In either case, I'm going to assume you're on here behind someone else's back - especially if your profile says you're straight and you're asking me to meet you.

I don't accommodate - ever. Please note I said don't, not can't. This is a personal preference and not one that is up for discussion. So if you can't accommodate I see no point in sending me a message asking if I want to meet.

I should say that I don't meet at the drop of a hat - I prefer to take my time and get to know someone first before deciding if they're someone I want to meet. Which could explain why it's been over three years since I last met someone from this site, which was at a summer barbecue with other people there - which was the first and last time I've been to anything like that (that's not a criticism, I just have a lot of social anxiety and feel uncomfortable when I'm surrounded by people I'm meeting for the first time), and I will only meet someone when I feel ready - not when I'm told I should be. I may sometimes come across as being rude, unsociable, obnoxious, or even arrogant - I genuinely don't mean to appear this way, it just seems that way because of how I have worded things, as it can appear that I'm being sarcastic when I'm being completely sincere
