Recently went to mingles for the very first time and quickly went back again last night for the Christmas party. The staff have been amazingly welcome, thank you to Bex for the headache tablets and I'm super happy I will be at the very last party at Mingles NYE.

This club is without a doubt the friendliest and best presented one I’ve been to. I’m far from an expert but the hosts leave me feeling totally at ease and able to relax in no time. Nerves always seem to accompany me but I couldn’t wish for a better environment to aid them melting away. I’m always leaving eager to return and counting down until next time. I’ve been alone and with a friend and both times made me feel equally welcome - I honestly couldn’t ask for more. Jason is really funny and a total gem of a guy - his humouress Nature always shining through while Bex is quite simply a gorgeous firecracker of a woman - one who couldn’t be more approachable and friendly. It is what we call a boutique club, small, discreet, tastefully adorned and well managed. The club is ideal for experienced, intermediate, people just starting out on the swinging lifestyle or nervous players, there is no pressure to play, sitting, chatting, dancing and general socialising are encouraged just as much. Being somewhere that is local to us, is a massive plus and we try to utilise the establishment when time allows, far better option than a 4 hour journey there and back to other places. If you haven't tried Mingles then you are missing out on another experience to add to your memories. A last minute decision to attend mingles for the first time last night and when they say impromptu decision are the best they aren’t wrong. It was fantastic I instantly felt welcome when Bex greated me and showed me around. The club is clean, cosy and decorated beautifully. The members were all very friendly and I had a blast. Had my first visit to Mingles (which was also my first experience of a club), and these guys were very easy to get along with and helped to put me at ease and get over my initial nerves (though playing with Lisa upstairs also helped!). The club had a nice, enjoyable atmosphere and the members were all very friendly. The only downside to the evening was that I missed the last bus (too distracted) and had to walk back home! I should think I'll be going back sometime soon...

Decided to make the effort to go to Mingles last night dispite the freezing temperatures and so glad I did. I always have a fabulous time at the club. My first time here for a Transcend event, but it will not be my last! I arrived dressed and was made to feel very welcome by Becs as soon as I walked through the door. Then completed the formalities of a first visit before being given a tour of the establishment and its facilities by Goddess Felicity. The venue is stylish, sophisticated and very clean with a range of areas to enjoy, depending upon your mood. No pressure to play unless I wished too. I met some lovely people here......guys, gurl and girls....and I hope to get to know a few more of them a little more intimately next time... Thanks for the encouragement to get on to the dance floor in heels...you know who you are x. Great atmosphere throughout the venue with great bar service (Richard) and music (Jason) all night along with some nice finishing touches such as the tasty snacks laid out later in the evening. Good location and a safe walk to and from the nearby car park whilst dressed. They're happy to provde someone meet you/walk you back if you prefer. Last night I went to Mingles. It was my 2nd visit in as many weeks. I can't stay away. When I come here I lose my inhibitions and just get down to it. We attended our first ever club last night and we are so happy that it was Mingles! J&B were very welcoming, starting with a fun tour of the club. The small size of the venue is perfect for getting started without any feeling of intimidation or being overwhelmed. The social focus of the club was perfect for us to meet other like minded couples. As the night progressed, flirting and giggles were aplenty! We played with a sexy couple, but there was no pressure to do so. The night had amazing elements of full swing and a social party scene downstairs with drinks, chats and dancing. I went to Mingles with my partner last night. We were "newbie newbies" but not anymore! Mr and Mrs Mingle were very warm and welcoming. The night started with a tour of the club, great conversation and jokes flowed to ease our nerves. All through the night the Mr and Mrs were very fun and attentive. The club has the perfect balance of social side and little party later on. It's very clean and beautifully laid out. With its smaller size, it's a lot more intimate and being newbies we were very grateful for that! This club exceeded all of our expectations for not only itself, but the lifestyle as well. There was a great mix of other newbies and regulars too and I'd recommend this place for anyone who wants to enjoy errr.. A good Mingle with other like minded couples and people.

Had to visit this absolutely gorgeous little bijou club as needed somewhere for the 16th tick on the club challenge. It's beautiful...well thought out extremly clean.. fabulous rooms...electric atmosphere and the staff are all friendly and gorgeous. Don't play in all of the clubs bet defo made the most of this one and had a cheeky little session. So sorry to the gorgeous lady I bumped heads with upstairs...hope you are ok? Management... you should really have a rule about men wearing socks while shagging....had to tell a few people off....lol. Not much more I can say except... expect me back soon...thank you for a great evening. Friday night... what a great Good Friday!!! A night for a few "first's" for us, but what an extraordinary choice of venue for that! We went to the White Shirt night at Mingles last night. It was our first experience of a club, but we weren't left disappointed. The club itself is very chilled and gorgeous inside. It's a very intimate atmosphere and although the owners were away, the staff on that night were very friendly and ensured that we were OK at all times and had fun. The venue is a careful balance of glamorous nightclub and intimate lounge, with the upstairs boudoir setting a masterpiece of consideration. The club is full of well considered details throughout, the atmosphere both vibrant and relaxing. We have met J&B on 2 occasions at their fabulous club Mingles in Colchester. They really are very lovely and sexy. Both nights we have had a warm welcome and had a fantastic night. What can i say probably the best place in the world for me. Clean, friendly, classy run by the most sincere, kind caring people you can ever meet. This place is a must for all, especially good for first timers as the crowd are so friendly. It's clean and fresh and anything goes. If you haven't been to mingles then make sure you do...It might be smaller in size than other clubs but if your like me....its the people that make it. A regular haunt. ..i would never not recommend this place or its owners. I went as a singleton as have never felt so at ease thanks to the staff.

What an amazing club and amazing hosts. If your thinking about going to a club for the first time we highly recommend this one. Staff are so friendly and make you feel so relaxed. They have done the club up to a very high standard and we had a fantastic night. X looking forward to returning again soon. X thank you guys xx

Very classy club. Impressed with the luxury aspect of the club. All staff made us feel very welcome and were very helpful and friendly. Not many people there thou! :-(. But hey! We visited on opening night A lovely little club tastefully decorated and well thought out The owners have worked hard and put a lot of thought into the space they have Very nice people very welcoming and always a smile on their faces Although a fair distance for us to travel we will definitely be visiting again soon
