We went to the social which was organised by Shell and Gaz at the Antrobus Hotel in Amesbury. It was easy to find and there was plenty of parking available opposite the Hotel. We had exclusive use of the bar so everyone there was there for the same reason - an ideal location. Shell and Gaz were the perfect hosts and they made everyone feel welcome. They also served behind the bar so there was no need for any inhibited conversation. Hopefully circumstances permitting we will stay the night next time although it was only an hours drive from Christchurch
