Married and in a sexless and emotionless relationship. My younger son has M.E. and is Insulin dependent. He has now started a university course via distance learning and has gained a greater degree of indepence.

I am now much closer to seeking my own freedom. The responsibilities of parenthood don't constrain my options as much.

My partner is aware that I am trying to maintain a sex life and find a partner who wants the intimacy that men and women can offer each other when they are not focused on self pleasure. Ideally an intimacy that regular on going meets our collective needs.

The situation between is cordial but she is effectively leading her own life. Time for me to lead my own life and find a lady who wants me actively involved in hers.
