NEXT EVENTS MAY 7TH - Guest list opens end on April. Couples and single ladies add us as a friend to get you automatic invite!

The Thanet Social would like to Welcome you to our profile! We are a local group of likeminded folk from the swinging and poly lifestyle. Our events are mainly aimed at couples but are open to everyone (we limit numbers of single males see FAQs for more info) we meet in Thanet on the first Thursday every month so please do drop us a message and come along! If you have been before please do help us spread the word and leave us a verification!

This will be a non play event and a safe place for all to come and meet new folks. If you are new or been on the scene for years, all welcome! THIS IS NOT SPEED DATING! IF YOU GET ON WITH SOMEONE BRILLIANT BUT DO NOT ATTEND JUST TO TRY TO "PULL" (yes single guys that is aimed at you)

As a lot of you have asked a little about us-

Patty is the unfortunate partner of Josh (all agree she is my better half). Josh has been on scene for a decade working at other events. Neither of us are using this account to try and find meets at the moment please respect that x

Dean & Claire are good friends of Josh & Patty and often take the lead from our new venue . They have been on the scene for years are very well known in the community for both attending and hosting events.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)

HOW DO I GET AN INVITE?

Couples and single ladies message us at any time and we will add you to current guest list (if full will let you know but we have lots of space so doubt it!

Single gents wait for us to post a status specifically asking for gents a few days before the event but this is rare. The best bet is to speak to a single lady or couple you know well and have them bring you as their guest. IF YOU IGNORE THIS YOU ARE LIKELY TO GET BLACK LISTED FROM ALL FURTHER EVENTS, RESPECT THIS BOUNDARY!

AS A COUPLE/LADY CAN WE INVITE A SINGLE GENT?

Yes of course just let us know their username and unless they have been specifically banned previously we will add them to guest list. A social like ours is a great public place to meet people for first time.

IS THERE A BAR?

Yes but sadly it is not free so you will need to pay for your own pint!

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Come comfortable but your meeting new people so make a little effort if you can, however if your coming straight from work we understand and aren’t going to turn you away. Our venue is now fully private without visibility from the public so if you wanted to dress a little more scandalised also totally welcome.

DOES PINEAPPLE BELONG ON PIZZA?

No of course not! but we will try to not judge you.... too much

IS THE EVENT ADULTS ONLY?

Yes both because of the nature of the event and legality of being in a bar it is strictly over 18’s.

WHERE/WHEN IS THE SOCIAL?

First Thursday of the month in Thanet, exact time and location is sent out with the invite.

IS THERE A CHARGE?

We are incredible fortunate that the drinks sold behind bar covers our cost of hire. With this in mind please do buy a drink onsite even if its a soft one! The cost of the event has always been covered by the hosts. We keep things on a pretty tight budget however we have been asked about contributions so will have a box out on the bar. This is totally optional and anything above and beyond our costs will either go on prizes for future events or be given as a tip to the bar staff.

IS THE EVENT “420” FRIENDLY?

No, what you do in your time is down to you but please dont bring anything illegal to the event, it puts the venue license at risk.

I AM NOT STRAIGHT WILL I STILL BE WELCOME?

YES! Lots of our regulars are somewhere on the LGBTQ+ rainbow and we do our best to make everyone feel comfortable.

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE?

The venue does not supply food we always try to put out some snacks but we suggest you eat first. Also feel free to bring something snacky to share its a great icebreaker if your nervous!

WHAT IF I BUMP INTO SOMEONE I KNOW?

Then I suggest you say hello? We all have lives in and out of the swingers lifestyle, our advice is don’t let it become awkward do the “oh hey you do this too” convo and all move on keeping each others private life private.

WE ARE A COUPLE BUT HAVE INDIVIDUAL PROFILES

Not a problem any single female is welcome to bring a male guest so just have the lady reach out to us.

IM A SINGLE GENT HOW DO I GET AN INVITE?

Either wait for us to ask for gents or have a couple or lady bring you. Here are the things we as a team all look at first if we open invites up.

- your message to us contains more than 1 line

- a profile picture (not of your cock thank you)

- a verification within the last 6 months

- a full and detailed profile

- some clue that you have read this profile (mention pineapples)

If you have all of these things your chance of getting a yes are significantly higher. IF YOU MESSAGE/WINK/FRIEND REQUEST US WITHOUT US ASKING FOR SINGLE GENTS TO APPLY YOU ARE AT RISK OF JUST BEING BLACK LISTED. Once black listed you are then banned from future events even if you find a couple or single lady to invite you.
