*2nd July update: I don't know why I am bothering no one pays any attention. OK so my father took a turn for the worst and passed away Saturday morning. I was very close to him and am devastated. I don't want to meet, I don't want to chat, any messages being sent except from people I know are just being deleted. Please give me the time and space I need. Thank you.

*Update July: Friend died, I'm very upset. Father too ill to live alone and moving in with me. My Dad is my number one priority I won't have him for much longer so won't be meeting anyone new. If you don't understand this you really were not for me anyway.

*Update June: Friend still with me and more sick than expected and my Dad is also very poorly. Makes arranging meets hard as I have to be on call 24/7. I'm not ignoring people but real life comes first!

*Update April: I am looking after a friend whilst she recovers from a stint in hospital. She will be here for at least 2 months and means I will not be around much until she has gone to her new home (waiting on conveyancing etc). So if I don't answer/respond that's why!

No longer shackled to the ole ball and chain, I'm not looking for a relationship but would prefer not one offs. I am open to most things. Let's see what happens ...

OK UPDATE: There are clearly way more men on here than women that means I get to pick and choose, how cool is that! So, here's the thing.

I am interested in people that can actually string a sentence together, "Hi" just won't cut it. I may be a stay at home mum now but I did have quite a good job for a while and am reasonably articulate.

I am also more interested in what your face looks like and your personality than your privates so if all your pics are of your dick you need to re-think! Also, don't tell me you are good-looking, thats for me to decide, how do you know what my ideal guy looks like??

Whilst I am unattached I DO have a child that lives at home. That limits my abilities to go out so if I am arranging a babysitter I have to think it is worth it!

And sometimes the site just totally overwhelms me and I don't reply to anyone, not even people I have been talking to, this does not mean I am not interested just that I need some space, if you don't get that you were not for me anyway :-)

HAVE YOU READ THIS??? Why would you message someone if you haven't and if you have why not pay attention. Plus please note it says I won't meet smokers. I really mean this, the smell of smoke brings back bad memories, and trust me, my nose is well trained at sniffing out the signs!!!

Am I being harsh? Yes probably but I am fed up having the same conversations over and over again.

Oh and as a single lady over 40 I have cats, many cats, be warned if you have allergies!
