Does that mean just unread, or deleted with reading??,

I doubt very much it would notify whether it's been read or not if was deleted but if you have a message saying unread it'll be somewhere

It means unread. When it's deleted a line appears through part of it.

It can mean that they have been read and then "marked as unread" so as to disguise they have been read.
