Does everyone prefer local friends r hook ups? Is that down to peeps having partners? Or do they feel that long distance would never be fun and never end in a real meet!

local is ideal but for me the reality is without any travelling I would not have met many people on fab if I relied on this area

I used to do a 250 round trip but it was well worth it.

Wouldn't a local meet be risky if you are married, or does she know?

We wouldn't travel too far or want anyone to travel too far to meet us. We don't like the idea of feeling beholden to take things further.

think i'd prefer local but not that into anyone from here. even as i grew up i tended to prefer dating guys not from my home town, dunno why that was.

like i'd date guys from other countries who lived here, wasn't into the locals or anyone who had generations of family here at all.

A girl came all the way from London to meet me once. I didn't think it would happen but she was genuine and we had a great weekend together. Someone living 5 minutes always is preferable tho

This for me too, the safety aspect means I want to be able to get home easily.

We often drive over to cupids 1hr 15. Once you're in the car a bit extra time doesn't make much difference in the scheme of things.

We had a meet there last night (tues) and a guy was in the bar who'd driven from Glasgow just to check it out, and was driving back 3-4 hours, just speculative and for interest.
