That’s absolutely it, I hadn’t been in maybe 2/3 weeks and was in Sligo went and took a dip in a lake and my god it was a shock but right enough after it felt great again |

I try & get out once a week anyway all year round.. it can be tough to face some days but always worth it..but especially if your not used to it, please focus on your breath.. when u catch ur breath focus on your out breath being longer than your inbreath. This will help slow your heart rate as your body goes into shock & releases cortisol fron the cold.. I lost someone close a few years ago from cold water shock.. so please be careful.. |

40ft sorta needs to be a morning one if naked.. starting to get busier now and some people dint like naked swimmers..but there is whiterock where its a lovely morning or evening naked swim there.. |
