I have a feeling it is sometimes a nefarious activity. I have often heard of guys being b'mailed by female accounts on here that were fake. I'm not saying this is the only reason but certainly would be a common reason I would suggest. |

I've been stood up 3 times.
Once I think she was genuine and just got cold feet at the last minute.
The other two times I now believe the accounts were fake.
Too good to be true and here a year and not verified.
Still God loves a trier. Lol

I think there are a good few fakes and of course men would be primarily responsible.
They just want to chat and get some attention I suppose.

We were talking to a girl on kik before, she was asking for face pics to exchange so I sent some on and then kept asking for more becoming more and more persistent for pics, so when Mr fuddy messaged from his kik and asked her for face pics she sent completely different pics. When we asked what was going on she blocked us. So for that particular experience I assume she was a he and he was definitely a pic collector.

Kik is your friend. A live photo request with a particular pose gets the fakers heading for the hills. There is no number given and instant block available.
And yet dozens of profiles say "no kik ".
