Who's up for a little game?
Keep seeing statuses of people asking someone specific to message them as they can't get through the filters.
Who's up for dropping them filters for one day and putting a status up letting everyone know we have done so, so ones that been left out can finally say what they need to say?

I just have all males blocked so not much point 
There is one member I chatted to a good bit on my last profile and got on well with.. now since I re-joined a few months ago she has my age filtered out. Booooo!  |

"Those statuses make me laugh, because if you don't meet someone's filter requirements, you also won't appear in their updates. They'll never see that status. "
Ya but kne of their friends might see it and let them know exactly what they are missing out on because of silly preferences |

That did actually happen to me once... A friend asked me if I had seen a certain status demanding that I contact someone who was several years outside my age filters... I hadn't, for obvious reasons, and being told about it didn't make me want to change |

That did actually happen to me once... A friend asked me if I had seen a certain status demanding that I contact someone who was several years outside my age filters... I hadn't, for obvious reasons, and being told about it didn't make me want to change "

I drop mine from time to time just to allow a few new contacts and fresh conversations, especially with Forumites, but quickly get swamped with meet now offers and dick pics, especially around weekends. Each time you drop your filters you suddenly appear in more people's local updates and searches, and it's like triggering a 'fresh blood' feeding frenzy. It's the best way I can think of describing it....  |

I drop mine from time to time just to allow a few new contacts and fresh conversations, especially with Forumites, but quickly get swamped with meet now offers and dick pics, especially around weekends. Each time you drop your filters you suddenly appear in more people's local updates and searches, and it's like triggering a 'fresh blood' feeding frenzy. It's the best way I can think of describing it.... "
So very bloody true!
So far I've got about 4 messages from over 45s stating that they would be interested in meeting me today, my bf is even !allowed! To watch.
And about 6 over 50s stating that they get off from the photos I upload and asking me to add them as friends.
That aside - few people I've actually met at socials and got along with contacted me too, which was a brilliant thing. Love keeping in touch with decent ones  |
