What’s your favourite place for a first 1to1 social?

I’m looking for Central London or Square Mile, preferably classy and cosy, with a bit of atmosphere but away from the d*unken City type.

Open to other suggestions too. Cheers

Although some form of spooning might be a desirable outcome I’m not sure your suggestion is the place to start.

But what do I know?

If you want to make some introductions I’ll gladly accept. But I’m still looking for a place conducive to seduction

The bar of the restaurant called Mber. (The City)

George’s Bar at the Gilbert Scott. (King’s Cross)

The Berner’s Tavern (Fitzrovia)

NightJar (Shoreditch)

Or just about any hotel bar in the city?(:

Cool, thanks.

I’ll check those. I like the bar of the South Place Hotel on Eldon street, the decor and atmosphere are nice.

Mid Sussex & London

Are you going to be taking someone or looking to meet (pull)? If the former, then book a Cell at the Southwark Tavern near London Bridge. Very discreet booths in the basement bar. Very conducive to naughtiness if things go well.

I actually had the social already. I started the thread a few days ago.

But I like it carries on as an exchange of tips. Yours sounds great
