Fab have removed the message title, brilliant, love it. Just imagining all those people now having to update their profile to remove "please put pineapple in your message title to prove you've read the profile". Always found this request so self absorbed.   |

I'm usually pretty ambivalent about site updates as none of them have really affected my use of the site but this is a huge misstep that will only lead to issues for those who need the subject heading to filter messages or at least give them context.
It will also cause problems for event organisers and in forum games. |

I agree. Taking away a feature doesn't seem like a step forward. |

I love the ideea of taking it down. Maybe it's easy for a woman that they don't realy message people,but for a guy doing this all day it's exhausting and pointles anyway, rarely you get a response from them. |

lol - really? If you are spending that much time putting things in subject headings that it is an issue for you then I would suggest that you are more than likely going about things the wrong way. |

To be honest, it was usually tricky trying to think of a suitable message title, so not having to do that is a good thing, I guess.
I think the message title was a mandatory field previously (before its removal), so I think the best option would have been to make it optional, in my humble opinion. |
