"BLACKBERRY CURVE 9320 using default browser...

First check your GPS is working...

1. Home page

2. Options icon

3. Device

4. Location settings

5. “GPS Data Source”

5.1 Does the box below state “Device GPS” ?

5.2 If it does not then looks like your phone does not have GPS so wont work with the Near Me app

6. “Location Services”

6.1 Is “Location On” ?

Once above checked then lets check your Browsers settings…

1. Home Page

2. Open any web page in default Browser

3. Select options via the BB button

4. Scroll down to Privacy + Security

5. Is “Enable Geolocation” ticked?

5.1 If not then tick it so active

6. When ticked then click the “Geolocation Permissions” box below it

7. Does that have the Fab mobile URL listed and stated as ALLOW?

7.1 If not then add the Fab mobile URL

"My location does show on Nokia Maps "
That's good!

"The function whose near me on my mobile still doesnt work tho"
I've got an old Nokia phone, which seems to be working, but it could be remembering my location. I'll try it, away from home, tomorrow, and let you know.

This function is great. Took me a while to set it up on my Sony Experia. I just returned from a weeks skiing in the French Alps and I could see all those in the near vicinity. I even recieved a message from a female in Switzerland which was very welcome but a tad too far. Agree though that the majority of those who I saw were males annd of course I was/am one myself doh
