UN says there's evidence of human rights atrocities by China, yet China claims it's a western plot (never mind Taiwan incursions). My money says the UN will find against Russia in the nuclear plant (amongst other things) but it'll be denied. As both are on the permanent security council..... what's the point of it??? |

Yes, the system is ridiculous, where permanent Security Council members have a veto.
Worth remembering though that it isn't just these two countries who exercise it. Britain has used the veto more times than China. The USA have nearly five times as often as China. |
