Never liked the guy but watching him on Allan Carr show.. such an erudite and eloquent man, and so honest about his past.
Just goes to show that you should never judge on first impressions...

Never saw him recently but any time i have he almost brims over with enthusiasm about what he truely knows, to the point he cant say it all,, impression i get certainly. |

He is passionate about what he believes in and very intelligent. His humour can wander a bit but he always likes to show how silly the world can be if taken too seriously - I think he's great

Agree completely, on first impressions I thought he was an arrogant tosspot, the more I see/hear of him the more I admire the guy for his honesty and his intelligence.
I still hate him of course, but at least I can admit it's sheer jealousy talking. Every guy wishes they were that smooth. |

When he was on Newsnight and an intelligent person debated his point of view he could respond and just started insulting them so hes not that intelligent. The guy made him look a fool |

Sorry, but, so...? A comedian goes on TV and you're surprised he starts insulting people? Debating is a skill, it's a pretty crappy indicator of intelligence. As it happens, knowledge is also a crappy indicator of intelligence. It's a decent bet that whoever it is you're talking about had a lot more relevant knowledge than Brand did. |

He's a good guy with mainly good values (vegan) but, like us all, with questionable judgement at times (such as his unfunny phone call with Jonathon Ross). Was extremely funny when he first burst on the comedy scene, but he's gone off the boil a bit (like a lot of comedians) when he has to find new and fresh material. And, yes, he should clear of political debating as it is not his forte. |

I like him.
I like the way he disarms people by being a bit silly, then whacks them with his real intelligence.
I haven't really seen a film with him in it where i didnt like his performance.
I loved it when he took on the WBC and made them look like complete asses.

If Brand wants to start a campaign and take it to Newsnight it shows how lacking in intelligence he is if his opponent has more knowledge about his campaign than him lol |
