I have convo's with people in it, some people just about manage to say hi and bye to each other. The chatrooms are what YOU make of it. If you chat to people then they will chat back, if not then you will sit there not saying a word. | |||

Quite often many people will be doing other stuff on the site, on the 'net, on the PC or as chat mods I will be looking at profiles, pics etc. I will swap windows every wee while just to check all is in order and maybe have a short burst of chatting, then back to browsing.
Also, many people will be whispering each other, rather than saying stuff in main room. We also do that a lot, especially if its people we have met and discussing something that should be kept out the main room.
Maybe cos of Grids more senior years he cant multi task so well?

"K Grid ur prob not gonna like what i have to say and in no way is it ment to offend... just because ppl arent chatting to you doesnt mean they arent chatting!!!! most ppl (with the exclusion of the lurkers) chat away, most to their friends that they have made through the site but newbies are also included if they put in a bit of an effort to talk. you dont really in my opinion put in alot of effort ... you are always very welcoming with your "hellos" but very rarely do u try to strike up a convo with ppl after that... i think the way forward on chat is to join in at all times, stop moaning if ppl miss your hello as u know as well as everyone else how fast chat can/does move and its not always possible to catch everything. i think in the last few months you seem to have lost your spark and take things personally when they really arent intended to be and it would be great if u could get your mojo back so to speak. trace xx" Agrees | |||

but agree with Steve that... if am not chatting, means i am doing other stuff on the site or talking to friends or family.
Yeah can be like the "waltons" but hey nice to be nice !
Nice to get a good convo with all in room but not always possible depending how busy it is !
May be 50 but boy can i multi task ! lol
