The Kingdom

I went to watch the Red Arrows display at Ocean Terminal, Leith docks tonight as part of the Armed Forces Day celebrations...what a fantastic sight that was...such talented pilots...and one a lady pilot flying tonight..called Kirsty!...my daughter was so pleased to hear that lol.

Full programme of events for Edinbugh Armed Forces Day is available from Edinbugh Councils website....great parades, fly bys by various aircraft, harley davidson parade - 90 vehicles, lots of fun at Holyrood Park on Saturday & Sunday...all day....but the main parade starts at 1050 from Castle esplanade...

Please go and give your support to our troops

Good luck to the 7 Scots and all former members of 1/51 51st Hv 3Bw . Thinking of you all and those that have passed on too.

If the pen pushing fuckwits in London had got their finger out with mt re enlistment I would be marching thru edinburgh today and aberdeen tommorow.

Looked to be a good day in George Square, vehicles parked RM + RAF + RRS bands performing.

Being a Green Hackle, folk tend to think that only the White ones belong to Glasgow.
