Perhaps Pavarotti for me - as I thought he had a more piercing high notes. Once he created an interpretation, it never changed though and he sang the same things the same way without taking any risks. This did prolong the longevity of his voice but perhaps made him less exciting to listen to, compared with other tenors.

I do have a soft spot for Franco Corelli and Juan Diego Florez - both first class tenors and yummy to look at! lol
