Is where they recommend dearer?

It's a minefield right now but next update to travel list isn't due for 8 more days.

Any country is as big a risk as every other right now

Quite right, also the lists can change overnight , so whenever you choose to go, there is a risk that the country can change lists, whilst you're there.

Agree with this. Update due next week and then we’ll know.

Just heard on the radio anyone coming into England from 04.00 am next Monday doesn’t have to quarantine if they’ve come from a European state or America …. But don’t know if the canaries are on that list

Just to clarify what that is about...

The UK were only accepting NHS certificates for people who had been fully vaccinated.

This upset a lot of expats who had their vaccinations outside of the UK.

From Monday returning expats will no longer need to quarantine on arrival in the UK.

Fully vaccinated Canarian expats are issued with the EU Digital Certificate which is accepted by all 27 EU nations as well as the likes of Switzerland etc.

Mr Raab also did not rule out the possibility of popular holiday hotspot Spain moving to a different category in the government's traffic light travel system at the next review point a week on Thursday.

This is what rabb said this morning fingers crossed he means green But somehow I don’t think so

But still not France, or any other countries that may go amber plus. Spain looking highly likely just now. Fuerteventura is as bad Covid-wise now as it has ever been. Over 200 cases including ITU hospitalisations.

It seems likely according to the Times this morning that Spain inc Canaries will go up not down on the traffic light system next Thursday and then you will need to quarantine on return - that’s us fucked for Marbella in Aug and probs GC in October the way things are going - unbelievable
