One million percent wrong. By that reckoning guys armpits (traditionally hella hairy) are dirtier than a woman’s? |

Bacteria cause the odor from sweat, and the bacteria can multiply in the damp area of armpit hair – shaving the armpits results in less space for bacteria to breed, and increased effectiveness from your natural antiperspirant deodorant products. |

You sweat the same amount of sweat regardless of if there is hair there or not. Antiperspirant works exactly the same as it’s liquid and gets to the skin (unless your armpit hair is a huge mat!)
Hygiene is exactly the same if you just shower every day
Again I pose the gender question, are you saying that men are more unhygienic by having hairy armpits? |

I like my own to be smooth but I've also no issues going 3 weeks without doing them if I'm not seeing my partners or going out. If it's that offensive, I may start leaving it longer.
Someone I play with trims hers neatly and I love it. It really suits her and she is comfortable with it which is all that matters. |

I’ve got blonde hair so my hairy armpits aren’t that noticeable anyway. I maybe shave every couple of months or so if I get bored, same goes for my legs. Never had anyone even notice or care. I just do what suits me |

Male half here I regularly shave everything from the neck down but even when I cba with that the armpits are always shaved, from experience I smell more with hairy pits, we’re not wild animals anymore we don’t need hair for protection |

Wouldn't armpit hair - and bush - give more surface area for natural symbiotic biological processes to take care of things?
I'd have though talc is a way of augmenting what nature does - add more to aerobic surface area?
Then there's the point - there is the claim nature got it wrong? Really?? |

Definitely a no here.
Others can choose as they wish obviously and we can use this thread as a filter as per usual every time someone posts it like it'san original thought.
Looking at the pics posted on here, they all look to me to be too boyishly masculine and unkempt for my personal preference so i'll keep trimming, waxing, shaving or whatever I feel like on any given day or week tyvm.
And those who post that the hair/nohair choice has any deeper connotations beyond the physical can jog on with their pseudo-psychiatry, there's enough body shaming kicking about fab already.
How's about folk just shower and dress and do whatever pleases you yourself and put your wooden spoons away  |

Nena … I think that was probably a time when European women didn’t epilate as much as the brigs did … I remember seeing them when I was on holiday as a kid.

For me, I'm a big fan of sweaty bodies too - I guess I get triggered by the pheromones?!

Like everything. It is only unhygienic if you don't wash.
Porn has made the vulnerable of thinking to believe hair on women = bad. Being clean shaven is the unnatural thing here, not the other way round. |

Oh god yes . Can’t find enough ladies who have it . Wifey grows hers out for me , but she’s not naturally very hairy so she only has a little fluff. She jokes about saying it’s because I’m German.
I’ve asked a few ladies on here to share a pic or two, unfortunately they are usually so far away a meet is impractical. |

Good job the nay sayers weren't having sex in the 70s or earlier.
The hairless armpits/shaved fanny on a woman is a relatively modern thing and usually restricted to English speaking western societies. We're told what we should find attractive and some of us are more susceptible to being led than others. |

Some companies pay HUGE sums of money for for various ads, articles and awards in magazines. So the magazines always promote their funders products as being the best and that everyone of their readers needs to use these products (in order to get repeat advertising revenue as the magazines will fail without getting advertisers.)
So when millions of magazine sales all tell you to shave and that it will make you more beautiful and you think everyone else is shaving it becomes part of society and is seen everywhere.
Be yourself, not what a company wants you to believe in order to make them richer!

Hairy armpits are hugely underrated and very sensual. It’s a shame modern social conditioning doesnt favour them. I like it when the Mrs has slightly hair armpits. There’s more flavour and the scent is very erotic. |

I can't shave or use creams, my skin is too delicate and reacts too violently so I grow a little. Kept trim with scissors.
