Any body know why hotel prices have shot up this weekend in Manchester ?

I thought the same. Must be sundays football match. I have had to book a hotel in stockport to get reasonable price

Always go up when United are at home,a lot of the out of Town (long distance) fans stay over.

It'll be because of the boxing at the arena....frampton vs quigg, lots of irish over to see it

Thanks for your replies guys, we're now going to Blackpool instead can't possibly justify Manchester prices this weekend as much as we love the place.
