In the UK, right now, what would I need to possess in terms of "credentials" in order to comply with whatever COVID rules there are? I am asking for the future because I would like the idea of attending select bi events in the spring of 2022, assuming of course we would be allowed to travel etc by then... |

Any idea where I would get a LFT please? Would it be a Boots or the local NHS branch? I've stopped following the UK news since October 2020...I don't mean to come across as lazy... |

Another poster mentioned choosing a club. Don't tell me each club in England has its own rules about COVID credentials!? Or did I misunderstand something? |

Right now there is now UK government. You need to know where the venues are and seek out that individudual devolved nation's assembly.
So that's England, NI, Wales and Scotland all within the UK, but going by their own instructions.
The confusion here is that Boris is the leader of the UK and England, if he was to use the English flag whenever the Union flag was up as well, then qwe'd know it was the English he was talking to and not all of the nations. |

At the moment in England, I don't think that there are any rules that apply to Swinging Clubs. Most clubs are applying their own rules in an attempt to keep people as safe as they can do.
The "Plan B" rules for England say you need a Covid Pass or LFT for entry into indoor venues with more than 500 people, which I expect is much more than most (if not all) UK swinging Clubs.

Your better of contacting the club you want to go to closer to the time. Right now different clubs are requiring different things so your still better off ringing the club you want to go to, to get that information.
But if you want to be covered for all eventualities, then be up to date with your vacations. Download and setup your NHS app (not the Covid one) and take a lateral flow test on the day of your visit. You can get hold of the LFT from https://www.gov.uk/order-coronavirus-rapid-lateral-flow-tests , a testing center near you or a pharmacy.

Most Chemists, some vaccination centres, shopping centres. Look on the .gov website for locations near your postcode.
As you're not following the news it is national news today that LFT stocks are out, everywhere.
You'll be lucky to find a kit, best possibility is to ask friends to kind you until you get some.
With New Year, they'll be in very high demand. I've found independent Chemists most reliable than supermarket Chemists. |

You now need a collect code to obtain a test kit/s from pharmacies.
